• April 18th - Annual Junior Blind Olympics is the premier athletic event for athletes from across the country who are blind, visually impaired or multi-disabled. The event allows access for all youth, despite their disabilities, to participate in challenging, fun and confidence-building activities. Competition includes archery, rowing, shot put, soccer throw, rocking climbing, running long jump, 100-yard dash and goal ball.
• April 25th - Los Angeles Times Festival of Books depends on hundreds of volunteers to help make it America’s largest literary event.  This year, volunteers will help welcome attendees, assist with registration, staff author panels and sessions, supervise book signings, and much more.
